As promised a few line on our 5 nights away in Bulgaria. 
A smooth pick up from the airport and a pleasant welcoming at the aparthotel reception.  Absolutely bowled over with the bedrooms/bathroom kitchen and lounge with T.V. very modern obviously, and found it really spacious and clean.
Food, the short walk over to the clubhouse restaurant was nice and the 3 meals daily very tasty (beefburger at lunch inparticularly lovely), choice of menu good, although maybe limiting if there for a week.  Over all excellent, we both agreed.
I understand there has been the worst winter there for many years and under the circs the courses were in very good condition.  And what an unbelievable golf course Blacksea Rama is with the gorgeous views (particularly 18th)
 Everybody was very friendly and helpful, (i knew this was the case as have skied in Bulgaria) nice people.  I met the Director of Golf and the General Manager out there, they are totally committed to the task over there, had nice chats with them.  I am already talking about a return trip with a bigger group of members from here.  Golf is seriously going to "boom" over there in the next few years.  I have been raving about it to everybody that has asked at the club today! I will do my best to market the Resort and get people interested.

2011

As Captain of our Golf Society for 2011, I had to choose a destination for our annual golf holiday.

With up to 40 people to cater for, male and female, golfers and non-golfers it had to be a destination that would suit everybody. With the help of an amazing guy called Boris from Bulgarian Golf Tours I found this destination on the Black Sea Coast in Bulgaria. Boris sourced an excellent 5* hotel, the Melia Grand Hermitage and the 3 golf courses were the finest we ever played. I am confident that major tournaments will very soon be played at one these courses and I will be able to say, “I played there in 2011”. Thracian Cliffs Golf Club, Lighthouse Golf Club and Black Sea Rama are without doubt challenging but awesomely beautiful.

Local restaurants provided us with evening entertainment and excellent food and the Melia Grand Hermitage had all the facilities and style of a 5*hotel. The complete holiday was fantastic, even the bus drivers and their timings were so precise it’s fair to say that Boris will be hearing from us or someone connected to us in the near future regarding a return trip.

I can recommend Bulgarian Golf Tours to organise a memorable holiday and assure you that you will, like me and fellow members of our society plan a return trip in the future. Boris and the staff at the venues go the extra mile to make sure people visiting their country have a successful trip. II. Boris, Just a quick email to thank you for all your assistance with the booking of our holiday. We had a great time and your organisation was faultless. The BG Open Golf tournament was great fun  - we will be back. At the moment we are telling everyone about how good the golf, hotel, etc was and of course we are reccommending you.

II. We all enjoyed our trip, Balchik is a lovely little town and the Mistral is just the kind of hotel we look for. Its not out in the middle of nowhere and has lots of restaurants & bars nearby.

We thought all 3 golf courses were good:
Lighthouse:       Easiest of the 3 but still challenging & with some excellent holes. Found the clubhouse very expensive for food & drinks afterwards.
Blacksearama:  Excellent !!  Beautiful links type course, very well maintained. Would play there again anytime.
Thracian Cliffs:   What can I say that hasn’t been said before? Stunning course, even with the weed problem on some greens. Some carry’s from the tee were very difficult for the high handicappers (especially the one from the island tee across the sea).

III. Thracian Cliffs was absolutely brilliant, without doubt the best course I have ever played. I have played a number of courses around the world including various ones at St.Andrews and this surpasses all of them.

Thanks for all your help getting it organised and we will no doubt be in touch in the future to arrange more golfing days.

IV. Dear Boris, Indeed, it was a pity that you couldn't join us for a beer while we were in Balchik.

Re our stay there we've got one complaint...why didn't you offer us a longer stay???!!!
We would love to stay much longer...(if we only knew).

To be honest, golfing at Lighthouse was great, moving to Blacksearama was even better experience, but to play golf at Thracian Cliffs was like a dream...we've never experienced such a great pleasure while golfing (never and nowhere) and all the vistas were really spectacular!!! .
Not to mention local food, relaxing atmosphere, beer, local wines and accomodation at Mistral Hotel,all the transfers and of course beautiful weather - we've had wonderful time in Bulgaria and we are already looking forward to come back and play more golf in your,what is really for us, golfers' paradise!!!
I wish there was a better flight connection between Warsaw and Varna...

So let me thank you and all your staff for a wonderful job you did to make sure that our stay in Balchik was a truly memorable one.

V. We had a very successful trip all round for which I thank you.
The weather treated us very well which added to the enjoyment.
The trip home was delayed a little.

My only wish is that I could play better golf. I will have to take some lessons I think.

VI. Everything was fine. I have also raported to yours finnish colleague the very positive atmosphere of our trip. 
We thank You for very exact  transport,  good timing. We marked Your positive activity by your warm welcome in the first day in Lighthouse.

Golf is outdoor sport, but anyhow, we playd 5 + days. Most rounds in good weather.  Some of us has played golf more than 50 very countries. You can be pride, the golf courses are in the very top.

III. The golf course was great! Location spectacular!

IV. Everything went smoothly in getting back.

V. Great !!!
I did not have time to give you information earlier but we are very happy stay. The acceuil, hospitality, the tourist interest, the weather and the golf were very well. Thank you very much for the organization and as soon as possible I send information additional and photographs to you.
The Blacksearama golfcourse and villas are very beautiful too, do you know if we can rent appartments for vacations?
